That is the best game EVER. download from iTunes, or get the cracked app. If you go the cracked way, be sure to patch up the game, or it won't work. There are a lot of patches for one game, so search around. Be sure to set your permissions to 0777 after you apply all patches! Try www.appulo.us for cracked apps. Apple apparently has a modified firmware that enables iPod touch and iPhones to play an animation instead of having it lock and return to the lock screen. I wonder if any Apple employees will leak that firmware so that we can have that made into a tool by somebody in the jailbreaking community?

Finally, it's here. Firmware 2.2. Both for the iPhone abduhe iPod touch. It includes street view and done other cool stuff, but still no copy/paste. I wonder what will be next...

As always, It is proper to add Appulo.us to this post because ever since haklab has supposedly taken them down, they have been working hard to get 2.2 jailbroken. Let us hope that they will do it in a few hours...

as of now, we (or rather I), are working on an app that i would think everybody would like, actually, it is an complete interface makeover. i think that this should be satisfactory. the general outcome of the interface mod is below.

The mighty iPhone defeated by lint!

That's what a editor said. He went to to detail about how he took out everything and practically destroyed his phone only to find that it was lint that was making his home button unresponsive. This isn't the first time that a much loved gadget had to be destroyed before it can be fixed. Many other gadgets have had this problem and companies aren't bothering to fix it. Well, looks like I will have to get my iPhone switched out before the mighty lint gets to it!

quickpwn... the new pwnage tool except you don't need to restore. Still pwns and jailbreaks and unlocks, but no more need to restore needlessly and create custom ipsw's. Sounds like a great deal, huh? too bad the Mac version isn't out yet, but is will be soon. For now, the pwnage tool update has been pushed out and i'm downloading it right now via Sparkle. so far so good. Zibri (the creator of Ziphone) is working on a new Ziphone version better and way cooler than ever before. Waiting for that still...

Anyway,

the latest Firmware version is 2.0.1, which you can get over at the felixbruns website (search google "felixbruns") for free. the entry is called "ipod firmware download or something like that."

Every possible firmware has been jailbroken and unlocked, except for the iPhone 3G firmware, which has been jailbroken but not unlocked since the baseband is way different.

i did get my iPhone 3G, and yes it is unlocked via YESSIM, which i find to work extremely well. International-orders has kept their word. All Off Contract iPhone 3Gs are $700-$800 or something around that. one seller has sold them for $300 or so, but he sold out very quickly. iPhone won't be restocked at stores until late August. good thing i pre-ordered!

i finally got a MacBook, customized so it is a Quad-Core, very fast, and runs Windows Vista Ultimate in Boot Camp and OSX Leopard, the newest OS for Mac. It is so incredibly fast that my friend, who owns a MacBook Pro, is very jealous of me. There is a slight heating problem but that is to be expected. I LOVE MY MACBOOK!

The only current method of jailbreaking is Pwnage. which i find to work very well. for more info, check my youtube account.

Apple has announced that the new iPhone 3G will start shipping on July 11. The new iPhone will come in black and white, and will of course, support 3G networking. one con for hackers and unlockers, the new iPhone will have to be activated in store. this means no more in home activation. there are websites that claim to pre-sell unlocked iphones, such as www.international-orders.com. but even they don't know how they are going to get their phones. other websites include http://negrielectronics.com/. it is worth an investment as they garuntee that the iPhone will be recieved by the buyers on July 11 or money back garunteed. at least i certainly hope that they keep their promises because i have placed an order on international-orders myself.

how to jailbreak 1.2.0 formware on ipod touch:

First, restore to 1.1.4 if you haven't already.
Download the torrent file in this link: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4140440/iPod1_1_2.0_5A240d_Custom_Restore.ipsw
Then pwn your iPod using the pwnage tool. to know how to do that, search the pwnage tool on youtube.
then, jailbreak your ipod using ziphone.
after that, hold down shift and press restore in itunes
select the 1.2.0 ipod file that you downloaded and press open
wait
your ipod will be upgraded to 1/2/0, no pink screen of death, no nothing

WIndows Vista "hacktivation"

Most windows vista users probably bought the CD, but for the people who are trying to find a way to "hacktivate vista, you have probably heard of brute force product key generator. This program created by computer user tries thousands of different product keys until it hits the golden one. This method works w/ local logics of vista, but as recent studies show, the Microsoft activation server isn't so lenient. There is a way to bypass activation w/ a pirated version of the Windows Vista Ultimate x86 version and vista activator. The vista ultimate is the real version, but the vista activator puts in a product key and tricks vista into thinking that it is already activated. This crack does work and i can prove it because i am blogging on the cracked OS right now. my system specs are

Apperently, Apple has released a new firmware update: 1.1.4. What is Apple thinking of? Just when everybody is getting the groove (excuse my language) of 1.1.3, too! Well, that’s Apple. Always half a step behind of the jailbreakers but racing to get ahead.
By the way, ziphone works on 1.1.4, too. Just upgrade to a clean verson of 1.1.4 and launch ziphone. You should be jailbroken after you run it. The upgraded version of ziphone is not immune to bricking (bricking adj : where you apple device locks up forever and does not respond to downgrading or upgrading until you bring it to the apple store complaining and making up a false story about how your cat broke your ipod.) but it is less prone to do so compared to other apps that i’ve tried (like upgrading via installer)
Ziphone has released a new version called 2.5c that works w/ 1.1.4 firmware.

V1.1.2/1.1.3 iPhone/Touches are now jail-broken, meaning that you can install third party applications on them. For v1.1.2 devices, use the download link and instructions provided below. for v1.1.3 iPhones, use iBrickr special edition for 1.1.3 and follow the instructions there (it’s painless, it’seasy, believe me.) For iPod touches, downgrade your software to v1.1.1 using the download and instructions below. I personally would not suggest upgrading to 1.1.3 formware right now because other than three or four jailbreaks, all of the jailbreaks are somewhat unstable. This instruction provides the directions for the most stable one that I’ve tried.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNGRADING
you will need:
ipod Touch running 1.1.1 firmware (to check, go to settings -> general -> about -> and check the firmware. it could say 1.1.1, 1.1.2, or 1.1.3. if it says 1.1.2 or 1.1.3, use the download link here: 1.1.1 firmware
1.1.2 firmware : get it here
a PC that is turned on with power usage set to standard performance
iTunes 7.6(newest version) or later
1.1.2 jailbreak program: get it here
For your i-Pod touch, here are the instructions for jail-breaking(Written and tested for your security by me)
1. Click on the link provided above and save the file to your desktop. it is a big file so download may take a while.
Open iTunes, click on your ipod on the left menu bar. hold down SHIFT key and click restore on your iPod’s info screen. (This is for windows.)
When a pop-up comes up, select desktop from the - menu and click on the file that you saved.
When the restore is complete, visit http://www.jailbreakme.com/, scroll down and click download appsnapp. Safari should crash (exit quietly without warning) and a black box should come up that says a bunch of things such as Extracting files or running system command utility.
Once the iPod jumps back to the slide to unlock screen, slide to unlock and you should see an icon that says installer.
Open installer. It should refresh resources. (you are presumably connected to the internet)
Once it finishes refresh, scroll down on the download page and tap tweaks 1.1.1. Tap oktoprep and then install. Once it finishes installing, exit installer and wait for the slide to unlock screen.
Grab a 1.1.2 firmware download from anywhere. Be sure that it is for ipod touch not for iphone!
open up itunes. hold down SHFT key and click update.
Once itunes finishes updating, slide to unlock and then go to setting from your home screen -> general -> autolock -> never.
exit setting.
Then, open the attachment above and unzip it. You must unzip for the file to work!
After unzip, click on the file that says jailbreak.
Click “jailbreak!”
After the wizard finishes, your iPod will restart 2 times (this is normal)
After it restarts, slide to unlock and you will see the installer icon.
Open installer, wait for it to refresh, (if it doesn’t, that’s great!) and tap sources.

tap add

tap OK
Wait for it to refresh (this shouldn’t take a long time.)
After refresh, tap update if installer asks you to update. If you update, close installer after it finishes updating.
Open installer again after you slide to unlock.
tap install
scroll down and tap system
tap BSD subsystems
tap install
wait for it to install. DO NOT press the home button until it finishes installing. and the black bar at the bottom disappears.
tap mobile jailbreak
tap 1.1.3 soft upgrade
Check the all packages section if it isn’t in the recent packages section. The packages are listed in alphabetic order. This package should be around the “1” section.
There are several soft updates. MAKE SURE THAT THE ONE YOU INSTALL IS FROM ipodtouchmaster! It is the only one that will work stably with the version of installer (v3.0b, no beta anymore!)
Tap install. Make sure to read ALL the pop-ups.
make yourself a sandwhich or two.
drink some milk.
eat a cookie
Wait for about an hour.
If your ipod is still jail-breaking, press the home button and wait for installer to respond.
once installer closes, wait for the spinning lines to disappear and your ipod to reboot.
when you get back, your ipod will be jail-broken to 1.1.3!

tips and tricks that a jail-breaker should always know:
-When you restart your ipod and the apple symbol keeps on flashing, hold down the home button and wait for an iTunes symbol to come up. What you are basically doing is putting your ipod into restore mode so that iTunes can recognize it as an ipod and not as some inferior device.
-When you are jailbroken to 1.1.3, you should already have your ipod plugged into your computer. If iTunes comes up with a program offer page, click no thanks. If the page comes up again, click ok and quickly hit the “x” beside the loading bar at the top of the iTunes window. This should fix the problem so that iTunes will only show the product offer page once and not keep on driving you crazy with offers.
-Instead of doing all those steps above and risk bricking ( or locking forever) your apple device, just upgrade to 1.1.3 firmware, and use ziphone, a free jailbreaking program that works extremely well. You can get the five extra apps after you upgrade by adding the ipodtouchmaster source to installer.
